Pirrette

The Pierrot and Pierrette Collection is the sixth release in the David Oscarson™ Limited Edition writing instruments series. With two color variations, each limited to 88 pieces, it draws from the timeless tale of Pierrot and Pierrette. Originating from 17th-century art and later adapted to French pantomime, it depicts Pierrot as an affectionate clown yearning for the unpredictable affections of Pierrette. Their relationship is a mix of passionate reciprocation and indifference; during moments of mutual affection, they sit together on the moon's crescent, while Pierrot, longing for Pierrette's attention, strums his mandolin alone on the moon when she turns away.
